The Knagges – Caring for ‘Bimbil’
ABOUT
‘Bimbil’ is one of the original irrigation farms in the Gogelderie area and has been in the Knagge family for three generations since the 1930s. The Knagges grow rice, wheat, oats and barley, as well as breed sheep. The pests they are trying to manage are foxes and weeds – Bathurst burr, silver nightshade, African boxthorn and scotch thistle.
